Awsome lunchtime hamburger steak. A must
Brunch was great, potatoes crisp & good size portion. Gave it 3star because of the acoustics - it was a family brunch and it was during peak hrs. It was a bit hard to speak. Overall great decor and ambiance. Would definately go back and try the main menu.
We went for brunch and it was great ! Crispy and generous amount of bacon. Homestyle seasoned potatoes, a very cute skewer of fruits. You get a multigrain baguette instead of basic slices of bread, which I appreciated. Fruits were fresh ! I loved that local restaurant feeling. Would recommend and will probably go back.
Had the "Indian" moules et frites; delicious!! Started with the "piggy bloody" cocktail (basically a bloody ceasar but with steak spices and BACON!!) Our 20 person group was served almost at the same time; fantastic service!!
Nice food and atmosphere
Very nice and great service!!
Cute space, nice food and drinks. Friendly staff. Good for a casual bite, terasse & brunch.
Decent brunch, but the service is pretty bad. I came twice here and it's always been under staffed. We were four, never had a coffee refill in 1 hour and the ketchup we requested never came... Apart from that the food was good and the portion enough to fill me up. For 10$ I got a decent plate: fruits, beans, 2 eggs, bacon, coffee, potatoes, bread. They have a terrace at the back (very sunny) and at the front (in the shade). Pints for 3.5$!!
I went there for breakfast with my girlfriend and we both loved it. The menu is great, the plates come loaded with sides/extras and free coffee refills. The price is great considering what you're getting, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Ideal for a simple meal. Nothing fancy.
Solid pub style food with a decent beer selection. Good service, chill non pretentious vibe. Me and my girlfriend just found a new place to escape from our children.
Interesting drinks, but not much vegetarian options on the menu, good experience overall I'd say. Lot's of seafood dishes. I'd give a fourth star if they would offer 2-3 more vegetarian meals. Liked the place for a cozy evening with GF.
Full of heart and soul, the brunch I enjoyed here was fantastic. You can really tell that the people here care about the entire restaurant experience. I'm looking forward to returning to try the dinner menu!
Simple menu with elegantly prepared comfort food excellently paired with wine and beer. Perfect for lunch. The mussels in beer sauce is practically decadent.
Really the best home made burgers I’ve had in a longtime! So tasty/fresh!! I wish I had more place in my belly, I would have tried all the food in the menu! The price is very reasonable with just the right portion! The staff is awesome! Chef/owner, George Nory is A1! The place is very clean, cozy, love the vibe! I would recommend this place anytime! It’s a must! I WILL BE BACK!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Little gem up Church St. Not close to a metro but worth getting there for a pleasant meal with great food at a reasonable price. Great service to boot. Nice terrasse in the back too. Love it!
Quality good food and good coversations with staff
Secret gem in verdun. My girlfriend and I eat here often. The food is excellent and cheap. Staff are very friendly. Also has a good sized outdoor area in front and back. Highly recommend.
This is definitely one of those hidden gems of Verdun! The staff are very kind and humble, the breakfast omelette with fruits, potatoes and beans is very good. It came in large portion sizes, plated nicely, and the Columbian coffee hits the spot everytime!I loved the quiet yet spacious patio! I'll definitely be back for more
Deliscious food
I would give 4.5!Great food, cozy ambiance. We were just passing through Verdun and looking for a place to eat.
Absolutely love their weekend breakfasts. The Benedict eggs are always on point!
Nice service excellent food. A tad noisy
Delicious food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Once you've come once, you'll be back, again & again.Ensure you reserve; it seems a popular joint, and walk-ins may not land a table, on busy nights.
A gem for casual dinning. Variety in menu and price for quality very fair. The calamari and pieuvre was perfectly cooked, not chewy fresh produced. Moules & frites is a wonderful pick to or just a simple burger.
Great food and atmosphere!
Very nice presentation. Some delicious mains. Some more bland. Great for lunch.
Stop searching, eat here. Wonderful ambiance: up-cycled wood paneling, street-side and secluded alley-way terrace. Unobtrusive but upbeat music.People: Warm, helpful, kid-friendly, bi-lingual staff.Food: Simple recipes, well-prepared, with quality ingredients.Drink: Amazing cocktails, local beers, and nightly specials (ex: $3.50 pints).Good for romantic dates, big family meals, boys/girls night out. Seriously, our family will only go elsewhere when we've exhausted the menu. Can't recommend this place highly enough.Best part: it's decent prices! Table d'hote with app, main, dessert, coffee is under 20$
Loved it, food is nice and warm, plus the people are real funny. Definitely worth a summer afternoon.
The food was good. I when at the end of there brunch and they where nice and told me that they will still serve me. They know how to cook eggs and the they serve you baggett with your meal.
good stuff
There was only one good looking girl and it was my date
Good food , good prices. Loved it
Good food. Good ambiance
I absolutely love this place! I forgot what I ordered since it's been so long but it was delicious (something with sausage). It's not a big restaurant but it's cozy and during the summer they also have a small terrasse outside available. It's one of my fave brunch places in Verdun 100%!
We had a good lunch we good service.
Best restaurant in Verdun by far. The chef is fantastic. You can tell he loves and cares for each plate. The menu is diverse and if you like seafood you will definitely love the mussels.
The quality of the food is amazing & the coffee is wonderful
Great food, fair price. Good place to brunch too!
Best fries in Montreal!
Good food, good price, good service, trendy place, nice hidden terrasse. One of the best "hidden" secret of Verdun!
Great burgers and fries with a flavored homemade type mayo. Nachos a table over had my mouth watering. Small place nice terrace.
Went with two friends. All of our plates were delicious and the portions were quite large. Small and intimate venue but does get quite loud.
Loved the smoked salmon paninis the very first time I went there, the last time I went there the food wasn't that greate and I can't remember what I order...hihi that was a month ago..
Excellent breakfast. Swift service with shirt wait-times.
Great food. Great drinks. Great prices.
Just go there and try it already. It's delicious and unpretentious food. The brie burger is simply amazing. So is the brunch.
Great place for brunch. They serve boozy coffee and pints of beer for breakfast. They also have a daily menu which is great.
I normally don't eat pasta but their pasta was very very excellent....
Great Sunday brunch. Decent price for really nice breakfast. Service was awesome. Tiny negative, terrace in back is beautiful but really hot on a hot day, no breeze. (But we could have sat inside in cool dining room if we wanted).Truly recommend this bistro without hesitation!!!
